Why Powerful Female Business Owners Are Making Community Service A Priority

When economist Arthur Brooks tested the relationship between income and charitable giving, he found that for every $1 donated, an individual's income was $3.75 higher—showing that giving actually makes people richer. "People who give more go on to earn more," writes Adam Grant, author of Give and Take.

The same is found to be true for giving time. The Corporation of National and Community Service reports that, while only about 28% of American women spend time volunteering, those who volunteer at least 100 hours per year report amazing benefits, like lower stress, increased self-esteem, and more sense of control over life.

Whether contributing charitable donations, volunteer hours, or both, giving can have a profound impact on you and your business. At our March luncheon, we'll hear from women who have made powerful contributions in the community.

Don't miss this chance to hear these women—their stories, and their advice on balancing time, finding the right organizations to support your goals, and volunteering and donating in ways that will have the most impact.
