You and your NAWBO sisters have worked hard this past year. Now, it’s time to celebrate your achievements. We need you to tell us whose names to call out for the following awards at our Annual Meeting and Celebration on June 15th.

1.    Woman Business Owner of the Year

2.    Mary Diener Spirit Award (Board Member of the Year)

3.    Rising Star Award

4.    Public Policy Advocate Award

5.    Chapter Corporate Partner of the Year

The Woman Business Owner of the Year Award recognizes an exemplary NAWBO-Greater Raleigh member who is a demonstrated leader and role model within her business and the community.

ELIGIBILITY: The nominee is open to all, excluding current board members.

 

In honor of our first chapter president, Mary Diener, the Board Member of the Year Award recognizes one NAWBO Greater Raleigh board member for her outstanding commitment to the organization, her support of its mission and vision, and her work to promote the NAWBO brand within the business community. 

ELIGIBILITY: The nominee must be a current board member.

 

The Rising Star Award recognizes the accomplishments of one NAWBO Greater Raleighmember who has joined the chapter within the last 18 months and who has supported the chapter through active participation in meetings, events and committees; promotion, and networking. 

ELIGIBILITY: This award is open to all current members who joined within the last 18 months.

 

The Public Policy Advocate Award recognizes the accomplishments of one outstanding individual who has engaged in activities that enhance women business ownership through public policy and has supported and strengthened NAWBO's vision, mission, and its presence in the public policy arena. 

ELIGIBILITY: The nominee is open to all, excluding current board members.

 

The Chapter Corporate Partner of the Year will be recognized for a proven commitment and financial investment in our NAWBO Greater Raleigh chapter.

ELIGIBILITY: The nominee must be an active Chapter Corporate Partner. The winner’s representative must agree to accept the award in person at NAWBO-GR’s Annual Meeting on June 15th.
