  • NC SBTDC has experienced and knowledgeable business counselors who are equipped to help you with a wide variety of business problems, issues, and challenges. They offer business & management advice, financial assistance, financial analysis, marketing assistance, research, strategy development & implementation, and leadership & employee performance assistance 

  • SBA Small Business Resource Guide – NC Edition

  • SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. They can provide: volunteer MENTORS who share their expertise across 62 industries; free, confidential business MENTORING in person or via email; free business TOOLS, templates, and tips; Inexpensive or free business WORKSHOPS (locally) and webinars (online 24/7)

  • Small Business Centers – NC Community Colleges - The Small Business Center Network, comprised of 58 Small Business Centers throughout North Carolina, supports the development of new businesses and the growth of existing businesses by being a community-based provider of training, counseling, and resource information. Confidential counseling services and access to resource libraries are free of charge. Some seminars and workshops require a minimal registration fee. Services provided by the Small Business Center Network can be customized to suit your specific business needs. 

  • The Women’s Business Center offers customized, one-on-one business counseling; seminars and classes focused on key business topics, such as marketing, finance, certification and small business resources; review and feedback on written business plans; loan package preparation assistance and lender referrals; certification assistance and review; and networking opportunities to find mutual support, access to resources and business referrals.
