"Leading in a Man's World"

Globally, women earn only three-quarters as much as men—even with the same level of education, and in the same occupation. Women make up only 5 percent of Fortune 500 CEOs, and we account for only 24 percent of senior management positions around the world. Let’s open a dialogue about moving the needle, and learn from each other about what it takes to lead successfully in a man’s world.

What will you hear that you can apply to your business? Hear from a panel of women entrepreneurs about how they've used resilience, self-confidence and intuition to earn a seat at the table in leadership positions traditionally held by men and successfully lead their own organizations to success.

We'll talk about real situations—and real solutions. While we are on our way to making gender equality a reality, we have a long way to go. As business leaders, we have to be a role model for other women. Mentorship and building our support networks are essential to becoming catalysts for change. Confident, independent women deserve a seat at the table and the respect of our male counterparts.

This month we are privileged and honored to host an amazing group of women who have overcome the odds and helped level the playing field for women to be successful in a man’s world including two of our 2018 NCWBO Hall of Fame Winners!
