Unless we are serial entrepreneurs, as business owners we rarely begin a
business with the end in mind. Instead, we think only of surviving those first
critical years. Moreover, we tend to have a backup plan in case the business
fails, but we rarely have a backup plan for the possibility of our business
exceeding our expectations, which can have its own set of unique challenges.
So what do you do if you now find yourself pondering your exit strategy for the
first time? And what if your business has grown much more complex than you
ever anticipated it would, and now you are looking for a game plan to regain
your life while protecting your hard-earned investment?

Based on her own
personal experience, Barbara Mulkey will share her advice and perspectives relative
to stepping down from, or out of, your company.

Key take-aways will be:

● Planning for change from where you find yourself and your company
today, whether startup, mid-life, or “I’m ready to retire yesterday!”
● Knowing when you are truly ready for a change, or when your company
is ready for a change.
● Steps you can take to better ensure short and long term satisfaction
with your outcome.
